Travel Photography
As you’ll already know the main part of my photography is centred upon being a wedding photographer in Scotland. I’ve been doing this for almost 20 years now and one of the perks of being self-employed in a line of work that is fairly seasonal is that I can take all the time I need to go traveling. As you can imagine I always take my camera with me (at the moment this is a Fujifilm X-T2) and have photographed all over America, Argentina, Thailand, Europe and, most recently, India. It’s great fun but it is also excellent practice for my documentary style wedding photography. Having just returned from India early this month with a large collection of images waiting to be edited I decided it was time to finally realise a long-standing plan to create another website just for my travel photography. It will feature lots of photographs and also what I hope are interesting stories from our trips. In addition to photographing my own trips I am also very happy to photograph destination weddings abroad, that way I can combine by love of travel with the enjoyment of photographing a wedding too! I’ve just booked a wedding in 2019 in the Greek Island of Rhodes and I cannot wait!
