I make no secret of the fact that I absolutely love my job. Being able to create and capture wedding photography in Scotland is often so enjoyable that it doesn’t seem like a job for me at all! Driving around the mountains and remote lochs to spend a day with happy people in a Scottish castle or beside a serene loch is great! In addition, my couples are very often kind enough to leave me kind reviews and recommendations on my Facebook page and Google as well! I could show you hundreds and hundreds of photographs but ultimately it is the kind words such as these that will hopefully say much more about me than my images alone.

We were blown away with our Elopement pictures. Trevor was so calm and easy going from the day we reached out to book and until our very last minute change of day/venue. We really didn't know where we were going to be getting our pictures taken, but Trevor made it seemless process for us and took the stress out of our last minute change of plans. I am really not sure how many photographers would work like that with their clients at such short notice - above and beyond to ensure we got our perfect day. Trevor recommend the perfect beach for us and let us do our own thing. There was no pressure at all to stand a certain way or put in a certain situation. We just walked along the beach and Trevor took the pictures from a distance letting us have Our own space and special time together and Trevor captured true natural moments. We had friends reach out and ask if we had a drone because our pictures were just so amazing they couldn't believe it was from just a camera. We would 100% recommend Trevor for anyone looking for a low key day with no pressure but still wanting the day captured professionally. We couldn't ask for better pictures to look back at on our special day. Trevor exceeded all our expectations. Can we do it all again?

We are so glad we booked Trevor. In the run up to the wedding he was really easy to work with - he always got back to us quickly (this wasn't the case with all our suppliers) and he was happy to give recommendations around how to do things on the day. On the day he was fun to have around - we had a small wedding and Trevor felt like an extra guest we wanted there. He was relaxed and we had real fun as a couple going for a walk around with Trevor to get some shots on our own. We are delighted with the photos - neither of us are people who wanted or feel comfortable posing for photos - Trevor has managed to get some amazing photos where we looking like we are posing for them but we weren't - we were just enjoying being together as a couple. My mum has also commented that she was worried she would feel awkward with a photographer around taking loads of photos but she said she barely noticed him and was surprised to see some of the photos as had no idea they were being taken. We also got the photos back after about 10 days which was quicker than we expected.
We cannot recommend Trevor enough and feel really lucky to have had him as our wedding photographer.

A big thank you to Trevor for our recent wedding photos. From initial contact to delivering the final product Trevor has been amazing and communication has been fantastic! He helped us through the whole process and took the time to get to know us and our story before the big day, even had some handy advice for two people fairly clueless about wedding timelines. On the day, Trevor was not only very professional, but also just a joy to have around. As two fairly introverted people, he made us feel relaxed and at ease with his sense of humour and great chat! He was also super helpful throughout the day, lending a hand whenever he could. The Photos themselves are perfect, we always wanted the photographs to tell the story of the day and that’s exactly what they did. Watching them back feels like experiencing the wedding again, it’s incredible; even the more posed photos feel and look so natural. Were do I even start? We found Trevor on Instagram through Bog Cotton Elopements and from the first interaction he was amazing! My husband and I cancelled our big wedding due to covid and decided to elope in the highlands and given the restrictions etc, we were naturally quite anxious about it all. Trevor was so helpful and understanding throughout the whole process and when we had to postpone due to travel restrictions, Trevor got back to us so quickly with new dates and was so flexible which was amazing. Even the day before when rain was forecast and the road was closed and I was in a panic, Trevor phoned me and honestly put my mind at ease. He went totally over an above his job description! On the day as soon a Trevor arrived it was like all my nerves went away. Trevor is such a lovely and funny guy and he just made us both feel so relaxed and the pictures truly just speak for themselves. We really wanted natural, in the moment pictures and Trevor captured the day perfectly! We honestly couldn’t have asked for anyone better and we will cherish our beautiful pictures forever.

Trevor was the perfect photographer for our elopement on Skye, and we couldn't be more grateful for how special and memorable he made it for us. Trevor was so helpful from the start, he was quick with his responses to our questions and was always really happy to help us in the planning! We had decided to get married in the Highlands in Scotland, but are based in England and Trevor was able to help us find the perfect location. He shared with us his own experiences which stopped us from making silly mistakes (we almost didn't bring wellies to the highlands!!) Not only that, but he then drove us to all the beauty spots on the day that only those with local knowledge would know about. He was flexible and really helpful with his advice. The photos were absolutely beautiful and everything we wanted and more, he captured our day beautifully with such amazing landscapes. We couldn't recommend Trevor enough!

We are so pleased and excited with the way Trevor captured our special and unique wedding day. It was a beautiful and very windy (a bit drizzly) Scottish day and our ceremony was on top of a cliff by the sea (so pretty hard conditions). But that didn't face Trevor! On the contrary, he captured the light, the atmosphere and our emotions in a wonderful way. His manner was very friendly and positive, he was calm and we totally forgot that he was around during the ceremony. Also, Trevor was brilliant and very helpful during the period before the wedding. I can't recommend Silver Photography more highly! From the initial enquiry it has been a pleasure to of had Trevor as our wedding photographer. He was fully flexible with our timings, location and happy to embrace whatever the Scottish weather had in store for our outdoor elopement (which fortunately was perfect). I had no idea when I opened up to view our album photos that they were going to be as beautiful as they were!! They are just absolutely stunning. We have the most amazing pictures that capture our day just as we remembered it.

Trevor photographed our highland elopement last month. I couldn't recommend him enough. Not only did he take some beautiful photographs but he also helped find us a wedding location (which was stunning) and put us in touch with our celebrant! It would've been impossible to have had the wedding we did without him. From the very first email to meeting us in our cabin before the wedding, he was super helpful and kind. Trevor photographed our pre-wedding elopement in the winter and then traveled to Rhodes for our wedding day too. Both photo shoots were a success. And if at the first one things were relatively easier, the second one was the most challenging, with a mental Greek wedding being all over the place! Despite that, Trevor took really nice pictures, with their natural element being their main feature. He's the person that is not going to stress you out. With Trevor, a good quality work is guaranteed, with little if any hassle at all.

Even though we had not spoken with Trevor prior to our elopement due to busy schedules, we could not thank him enough for taking our photographs perfectly. He is down-to-earth and easy to get along with. He made us feel at ease especially for a shy and awkward bride like me. He let us pick our photograph locations as we went around and advised the best places. He was very patient with me while walking around with a pair of stiletto heels😅. Trevor has a good eye for details, candid and natural looking photos. We also received our photos earlier than we expected and were so thrilled on how romantic they came out. We also received loads of compliments. His skills, experience, professionalism and expertise is highly recommended. Trevor photographed our wedding in May 2018 at Rowallan Castle, and we honestly could not be happier with our photos and the service we received! From the first message to enquire about Trevor, and even now, he has always been professional and easy to communicate with about any questions/queries I had with prompt replies! On the morning of the big day, Trevor was great at helping calm my nerves by making us all laugh. He played a massive part at helping keep our timings to schedule and even let us use his campervan to travel to another spot on the grounds for photos. Trevor photographed our elopement on Isle of Skye in September and we are so thrilled with our photos! Trevor has been so brilliant right from the start, he was so quick at replying to my emails (even when I was asking for advice on vans and completely not related to the wedding!), and the fact he drove all the way to Skye for us was amazing. Nothing was too much trouble for him and he made us feel so relaxed and comfortable. I feel like he went above and beyond for us and I'm so grateful. He was so patient and didn't mind being out in the cold, wind and rain! The photos themselves are so beautiful and exactly what we wanted. I especially love the photos of our dogs, Trevor was so good with them which meant a lot to me. Trevor also took so many lovely photos of the scenery too, exactly as I wanted.
