I am a wedding photographer in Scotland and I specialise in telling the story of your wedding or elopement by sensitively creating beautiful, stylish and emotive images through a mixture of relaxed portraits and natural documentary wedding photography. I have been a professional wedding photographer in Scotland for over 20 years and have photographed around 800 weddings in that time! The Scottish weddings and elopements I am asked to photograph tend to have a focus on having a wonderful, happy and romantic time together rather than getting too bogged down in formality and tradition and, for me, that is absolutely perfect! Rather than spending your whole day posing for me I enjoy photographing the laughter and joy at a wedding and love discreetly capturing lots of informal pictures of you and your guests enjoying themselves. I also like to incorporate pictures of all the little details and, of course, plenty of beautiful, natural photographs of you both. I also appreciate that you will probably want a few family group photographs and they will, of course, be easily incorporated without any fuss.

Wedding Photography for Adventurous Folk

Many of my clients are a little bit more adventurous, like myself, and I’ll happily climb a mountain, fly to another country or walk across a beach with you to capture your day. In my spare time I enjoy hillwalking, cycling, rock climbing — pretty much anything that gets me outdoors. I have been known to agree to photograph a little elopement just because it is going to be a little bit more exciting. They don’t all have to be halfway up a mountain though. Oh, I also love dogs. The dog in the photograph above is my own Jack Russell terrier Chip. He doesn’t come to many weddings but he has enjoyed a few small weddings and elopements on the Isle of Skye.

Trevor was the most amazing wedding photographer we could have wanted for our wedding and engagement shoot. We loved his journalistic style and it was great to have met him before the wedding day for the engagement shoot. He was calm and chatted with everyone throughout the wedding and made it a lovely relaxing experience to get our photos done. He turned all the photos around in less than a week (and we had 2 days of events!) and they are absolutely gorgeous. He came early to get set up and took lots of amazing shots of many moments during the wedding discreetly and with great skill.
