Bride and Groom on their Wedding Day in Glen Nevis, Scotland

Wedding Photography Packages

I like to try and keep my wedding photography packages pricing as simple as possible and with no hidden extras. This page is merely a guide and you can check my availability and obtain a full wedding photography price list with all the details by calling me or sending me a message via my contact page here. The honest truth is that I love photography and I really want to photograph your wedding so, if it doesn’t look like I have a package that suits don’t worry – just get in touch and I will see what I can do for you. Every wedding is different and I am happy to tailor my services for you.

Each of my two standard packages for all-day weddings include,

  • Coverage from the preparations through to the first 30 minutes of dancing.
  • Travel costs within Scotland and Northern England (except for any ferries that might be needed).
  • Pre-wedding consultation to run through your plans and ideas for your day.
  • Complete post-processing (editing) of all of your images. I edit everything and there is no restriction on the number of images I supply.
  • No charges for extra time on the day if your wedding runs late (excluding my 4 hour package).
  • 10 Free 10×7 inch prints for your mantlepiece.
  • Password protected gallery of your photographs online for 2 months.
  • All your edited pictures on a USB stick at full resolution with no watermarks.
  • A license giving you permission to print any of your photographs for your and your family to enjoy.
  • The option of adding on a pre-wedding engagement shoot if you’d like.

The second package also includes a 30 page Storybook style wedding album. You can find full details about the album here.

As well as full-sized weddings I photograph a lot of tiny weddings and elopements in Scotland. If you are having fewer with than 20 people (or thereabouts) I offer a special package which gives 3 or 4 hours of coverage with all the edited images on a USB – perfect for your intimate wedding. The cost depends largely upon the location so please do get in touch and I’ll be very pleased to send a quote. Looking for an Isle of Skye elopement photographer? Give me a call and I will be absolutely delighted to hear from you!

I really enjoy photographing weddings and would love to be a part of your big day. Even if you don’t think you can afford me but you know your wedding will be a bit different and I’ll love it, or perhaps you just have completely different plans for your day please don’t hesitate to get in touch and I will be more than happy to help. At quieter times of the year, for example January to March and midweek days I sometimes offer discounts so it’s worth checking your date with me. I can even do half day coverage Monday – Thursday.

Also, I really love travelling abroad and I’d photograph a wedding in Venice for just the cost of a flight and a night in a hotel…

Contacting me is easy and I’d love to hear from you at any time. To check my availability for your wedding just drop me an email or send me a WhatsApp message and I’ll get back to you ASAP!

Wedding Photography Consultation

Before deciding book me as your photographer it can be really useful to have a quick chat either by telephone or video conferencing (Zoom / Facebook Messenger etc.) and I will be very happy to arrange that with you. I also like to have another meeting (by phone or video again) a few days before the wedding itself so that we can run through your plans in greater detail and I can answer any questions you might have before the wedding day. I am always happy to help with your plans though so please always feel free to let me know if there is anything at all I can help with.

Coverage

I always like to run through the timings of your day with you at some point prior to the wedding but, generally speaking, for all-day weddings I tend to start about two hours or so before the ceremony to capture some of the preparations (I can photograph both of you if you are in the same location). I then photograph the ceremony and any family groups you’ve asked for, followed by a relaxed couples session that can be as short or as long as you feel comfortable with. I then usually take informal photographs of any friends and family that might be there before covering the dinner and speeches. After dinner I continue photographing the celebrations, normally finishing around 30 minutes into the dancing in the evening.

Editing and Post Production

All of your photographs will be edited to remove any unnecessary duplication and to ensure that the remaining pictures are looking great. I don’t do fancy effects or add cheesy filters – it is all about making your pictures look as good as possible. I love black and white photography and you can normally expect about 20-30% of your photographs to be monochrome. Of course, if you want more, or fewer, black and white shots then please just ask.

USB Flash Drive

All of your edited, print-ready, photographs will be saved to a USB ash drive and posted to you, usually about three weeks after the wedding. The photographs will all be full size at 300dpi and will not have any logos or watermarks. Basically, you can print whatever you want, however many times you want, as long as it is for you and your friends and family. If you would prefer me to make your photographs available to download I can do that instead of posting a USB – my overseas clients tend to prefer this method. I also include a second copy of the images on the USB that are in a slightly smaller format. These are ideal for sharing on the internet and, most importantly, for making your own backup copy somewhere safe.

Secure Online Gallery and Reprint Ordering

Immediately after I have finished preparing your photographs for you they are uploaded to the internet in a password protected gallery where you and your friends and family can view them. Visitors can also order reprints, digital copies and Parent’s albums if they wish. I will email the link and password details as soon as the pictures are ready for viewing.
