Romantic Vacation Photography in Scotland
Earlier in the year I met up with the lovely Brianna and her husband Tyler whilst they were on a short trip to Glasgow from America.
They thought they possibly might not ever make it back to Glasgow again so they had the excellent idea of setting aside a couple of hours during their trip for some vacation photography in Scotland to record their time here. Although I am primarily a wedding photographer I live and work locally in Glasgow, and have come to know the area very well through my wedding photography business so it was a perfect fit. As people who know me will agree I love travel photography (wherever my travels take me) and to be honest I jumped at the chance to spend a few hours on a photoshoot in the Scottish highlands with a couple of Americans. I even got to do play the role of tour guide and explain that there are key differences between midges and midgets. Yes, it was raining the whole time but they didn’t care. I certainly didn’t mind either as, to me, the mist and low clouds only added to the romantic Scottish atmosphere. It just wouldn’t be the same Scotland if it was sunny.
