I have been a professional creative Wedding Photographer covering Glasgow, Edinburgh and the rest of Scotland for nearly 20 years and have photographed around 800 weddings in that time! I specialise in sensitively creating beautiful, stylish and emotive images through a mixture of relaxed portraits and natural documentary reportage photography and use my years of experience to do my job sensitively and without any fuss.
The weddings I am asked to photograph usually have a focus on having a wonderful, happy and romantic time together rather than getting too bogged down in formality and tradition and, for me, that is absolutely perfect! I don’t believe that you are at your wedding to be a model for me and long boring cheesy photoshoots aren’t my cup of tea – you are there to be married and to enjoy yourself. I enjoy photographing the laughter and joy at a wedding and love discreetly capturing lots of informal pictures of you and your guests enjoying themselves. I also like to incorporate pictures of all the little details and, of course, plenty of beautiful, natural photographs of you both. I also appreciate that you will probably want a few family group photographs and they will, of course, be easily incorporated without any fuss. You can see loads of my favourite past weddings on my blog here.
I would love to hear about your plans and if you would like me to photograph your wedding then please contact me to check my availability for your wedding date and obtain the latest price list. I usually work alone (although I do have an assistant if you are keen for two photographers) and will only ever cover one wedding per day so dates at popular times of the year will get booked up more than a year in advance. If I am available on the date of your wedding then I will email you details of my prices. In the meantime you might like to have a read through my list of frequently asked questions.
I am very fortunate that I have turned my hobby into a business and I still love photography. You can see some of my own personal photographs on Flickr
