Last night I met up with the lovely Gillian when she came over to collect her 14″x10″ Storybook album. Gillian and Gary were married, very near to where I am based, back in July at St Columba’s church in Renfrew followed by a reception at the Glynhill Hotel.
I must make a confession – I am not usually a fan of white covers on an album (maybe I am too anti-tradition!) but Gillian had chosen to have an almost full-size photocover on the front of hers and we both agreed that it looked fantastic!
For those who don’t know, a photocover is an actual photograph that is printed onto special paper and then covered in the factory with a tough, but invisible, thin satin laminate. This is then bonded on to the cover of the album at the time of manufacture and the results are always very impressive. The image is, obviously, one of your choice and can cover as much of the cover as in the picture above or, if you prefer, just a half or even less. As well as the image itself it is very easy to add some text – just ask!
