Rather than simply ordering a selection of reprints from a wedding many
people prefer to purchase a Parents album - similar to the bride and groom's
own
album but with one photograph per page.
I use very high quality contemporary albums from the same manufacturer that
I use for the bride and groom's own album, the only difference is that it
is a little smaller. The albums are supplied in two main types, a contemporary
Storybook style album and the more traditional Matted album.
The key difference between the two types is the method by which the photographs are displayed within the album. Inside the Storybook style album each page is, essentially, one full-size photograph mounted directly onto the page. For the Matted album the photograph is held behind a black or white overlay which has an aperture cut into it to affectively frame the image on each page.
The Storybook album is 8"x6" in size and can be horizontal, upright or 7"x7" square. The Matted album is larger at 9"x9" (with a maximum print size of 8"x8") and is always square. If you want the biggest prints possible then the matted album is the best choice as the images will all be 8"x6" (or 8"x8" if already square).
There are several options to upgrade both albums to larger sizes and capacities
- please email me to get a quote.
